Scope is defined by contract documents and validated during plan/spec review. NEBB is the primary authority for TAB methods and reporting.

Airside TAB

  • AHUs, RTUs, MAUs, DOAS (as applicable)
  • VAV terminals, FPBs, FCUs (as applicable)
  • Exhaust systems and air devices
  • Duct traverses when required or specified
  • Commercial kitchen systems: kitchen hoods and kitchen equipment testing/verification as specified

Hydronic TAB

  • Pumps, coils, balancing valves (as applicable)
  • Heat exchangers and distribution (as applicable)
  • Documented coil/valve readings where specified
  • Central plant equipment: chillers, cooling towers, and boilers — TAB-related measurement/verification and documentation where specified

Special testing

  • Room pressure tests (where specified)
  • DALT testing (where specified)
  • Troubleshooting verification (by scope)

Commissioning support

  • TAB verification support for Cx (as contracted)
  • Closeout coordination and documentation support
