Scope is defined by contract documents and validated during plan/spec review. NEBB is the primary authority for TAB methods and reporting.
Airside TAB
- AHUs, RTUs, MAUs, DOAS (as applicable)
- VAV terminals, FPBs, FCUs (as applicable)
- Exhaust systems and air devices
- Duct traverses when required or specified
- Commercial kitchen systems: kitchen hoods and kitchen equipment testing/verification as specified
Hydronic TAB
- Pumps, coils, balancing valves (as applicable)
- Heat exchangers and distribution (as applicable)
- Documented coil/valve readings where specified
- Central plant equipment: chillers, cooling towers, and boilers — TAB-related measurement/verification and documentation where specified
Special testing
- Room pressure tests (where specified)
- DALT testing (where specified)
- Troubleshooting verification (by scope)
Commissioning support
- TAB verification support for Cx (as contracted)
- Closeout coordination and documentation support
